HOW I GOT STARTED TO
Work for Purpose
To Work for Purpose means to focus on what matters most, and find any means possible to honor these values while life works around them. When we do this, what we deeply love gets our primary attention and we don’t wait to get to a final destination before experiencing profound fulfillment. No matter where we are in our growth process, we never betray or abandon our foremost reason for being. This results in a deep and lasting sense of inner peace, confidence and ownership over our life’s journey.
The trajectory of my career has been anything but a straight line. I’ve zigged and zagged between my coaching and corporate jobs and it hasn’t always been easy to listen to my heart. I quit my first “great” job at an investment bank to swap it out for an unpaid internship at a coaching startup. I remember the fear and overwhelm that came with that choice.
“Is this the right next move? Will I feel happier? How can I make my career and lifestyle dreams a reality? Can I make money doing what I really love?”
Each time I took the next step in my evolution, I faced those tough questions.
Through and through, I hold an unwavering belief and commitment to Work For Purpose and am devoted to helping others do the same. Today, I’m proud that my work is an expression of my soul-calling, and my life reflects my values for wellness, service, community and creative connection.
Wrote my thesis at Tufts University on the Profession of Coaching
Quit my first job cold-turkey to intern at a coaching company in NYC
Became an Executive Recruiter for the top 20 VC-backed startups
Hired my first coach to help me career transition to entrepreneurship
Graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2010

Started my Coaching business full-time in 2011 (hello brand evolution)
Moved to Portland, and transformed my health with intuitive eating therapy
Co-won a $65k trip around the world with a client - thank you Travelocity!
Became a Business Coach for the Institute of Integrative Nutrition
Now
Moved to Nosara, Costa Rica to learn to surf and enjoy a minimalist lifestyle
Created a community of international friends and colleagues. My team is a melting pot of backgrounds and countries.
Built online products to support entrepreneurs (I hope they help you!)
Met my latin love Marco, adopted 3 kittens, committed to learning Spanish
